Factory Assembled, Ready for Installation
The unit is completely factory assembled, side access housing available in sizes from 1' wide x 2' high up to 10' wide x 7' high in a single module. larger capacities may be achieved by stacking or butting units together in a building block fashion.

The housings consist of a rugged one piece assembly complete with two (2) filter tracks, gasketed access door(s) and replaceable hardware. The units are shipped ready for installation.

Corrosion Resistant 16 Gauge Aluminized Steel
All housings are constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel for enhanced corrosion resistance and appearance compared to galvanized steel units.

Rigid, Interlocking Construction
The housings are engineered for rigid assembly using interlocking, snap-fit components. The components are secured with torx head screws that are countersunk for a completely flush exterior.

Extruded Aluminum Filter Tracks
the units are equipped with two extruded aluminum filter tracks. The prefilter track is designed to hold a 2" filter. The final filter track hold a 13/16" header style high efficiency filter. The final filter track holds a 13/16" header style high efficiency filter. The final filter tracks are designed with raised ribs to reduce friction when installing or removing the filters. Countersunk screws provide a smooth surface for easy installation without snagging.

Cross-Broke, Cap Style Access Doors
The housings are supplied with one door (standard) or two doors (optional). Cross-broke style doors are used for greater rigidity. The cap style design allows the doors to fully seal around the entire perimeter. The doors are also gasketed at the end of the filter tracks.

The standard units are designed for up to 7" W.G. negative pressure. Optional reinforcing is available for up to 7" W.G. positive pressure.

The doors have lift off style hinges that allow them to be easily removed where full open door swing (21") is not available. The door latches and hinges are screwed, not welded to the housing, allowing easy replacement if damaged.

Units that are single cell or multiple cell using full size filters may be rotated 180° to position the door (of single door units) on the required side. Units containing half-size filters or special flange adaptors must have the door location specified (right or left as viewed from the air entering side).

Modular Design Permits Sizing Flexibility
The maximum size of a single housing is 10' wide x 7' high, containing 15 full size and 5 half size filters (35,000 CFM rating at 500 FPM). Multiple units can be stacked vertically or butted together to achieve almost any desired capacity.

This size system would be achieved by using four (4) 10x6 housings - two(2) units butted end to end and two (2) stacked on top, for an overall nominal width of 20 feet and a nominal height of 12 feet. This housing would contain 60 full size filters (2000 CFM rated capacity).

When modular construction is specified, the housings will be supplied with corner posts prepunched and gasketed for butting units together, and/or standing flanges for stacking the units on top of one another.

Inward turned flanges around the perimeter of the housing at both ends are 1-1/2" wide for easy field connection to ductwork. For units to be installed in line with air handling units, special adaptor flanges are available.
