Micro-Clean Inc. was established in 1974 as an independent organization specializing in performance evaluation of Critical Environments. Since that time, we have grown to a team of over 77 individuals encompassing the many disciplines required to meet the stringent requirements of the cGMP-regulated community. DRS Laboratories

DRS Laboratories, Inc., is responsible for various decontamination services pertaining to the cleanroom industry. The Decontamination Services at DRS Laboratories is managed by Michael A. Regits.

These services include:

» Surface Decontaminations of equipment, laboratories, and duct work from biologically and chemically active residuals.
» Choose from a variety of chemical treatments, including sodium hypochlorite (pH neutralized or basic), peracetic acid with hydrogen peroxide, chlorine dioxide, detergents and alcohols. » Validation of surface cleanliness.
» Room Decontaminations from all viables including bacterial spores.
» Start-to-finish process (excluding biological validation) in less than 24 hours, using formaldehyde or chlorine dioxide gas. » In-Line Decon Cart, allowing simultaneous thorough decon of exhaust HEPAs and room duct work. » Simultaneous decon of biological safety cabinets, incubators and other devices within space. » Routine Biological validation performed with 1e6 B.athrophaeus. » "Mock" decons with entire process (start to finish), verifying appropriate lab sealing.
» Mold Remediation within biologically sensitive spaces.
» Use of sodium hypochlorite and surfactants. » Customized planning for contamination containment. » Air and surface testing for residual fungal or bacterial spores and other viables.

Microbiological Environments

Microbiological Environments is a consulting/laboratory service located in Bethlehem PA, primarily dedicated to the design, implementation and conduct of environmental monitoring programs and compendial microbiological testing.

With over 35 years experience serving the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Cosmetic and allied industries, we boast true expertise in environmental monitoring programs as well as method development, validation and conduct of microbiological programs. Such programs include: antimicrobial effectiveness testing, product and raw material testing, microbial identification, bioburden testing, cleaning validations and MIC/MLC.
