Our air showers employ concentrated air flows to lift off contamination while an individual simply stands in, or walks through a specially constructed air chamber. Punka louvers deliver jets of pressurized air at a velocity of approximately 7,000 feet per minute. The high velocity insures efficient scrubbing action which is necessary to remove particulate matter. Contaminated air is then directed through grilles within the floor or walls of the air shower to a series of pre-filters and final filters. These work together to remove 99.99% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns in size. (Optional 99.999 at 0.12 microns available.)

Our air showers are economical to operate requiring a minimum of maintenance. There are a variety of standard, factory built models to choose from in easy to assembly modular components.

Every air shower is constructed of the finest materials and assembled by skilled craftsmen. All interior duct surfaces are sealed. Exposed trim consists of stainless steel or anodized aluminum. Units may also be equipped with air ionizers to eliminate static electricity where required.

Every air shower is equipped with a blower motor, electrical control panels complete with safety monitors and emergency shut-down capabilities that may be activated from the interior of the unit. Fluorescent lighting is flush ceiling mounted.

The time cycle is adjustable to a maximum of 180 seconds. Cycle may be stopped with emergency stop button thus unlocking both doors.

“Reset” button will shut off alarm and reset the system. Unit is then ready to operate again. In case of power failure, all doors will unlock.
